In October 2005, Empire Science Resources, LLC began operations out of Lexington, Kentucky as a member-managed company. It is now operating out of Sag Harbor, New York and consists of a network of more than sixty active consultants that span seventeen states, and countries on three continents. Within this network the broad range of higher education expertise includes administration, accreditation, program approval, intellectual property, grants, contracts, technology transfer, start-ups, laboratory training, and publication.

Fitzgerald B. Bramwell serves as the Empire Science Resources, LLC Member Manager. He earned his B.A. degree at Columbia University and his M.S. and Ph. D. degrees in physical chemistry at the University of Michigan. He was honored for his career achievements as a research scientist in African Americans in Science and Invention and in Distinguished African American Scientists of the 20th Century.  Phillips Academy, Andover, MA honored him with the Claude M. Feuss Award for distinguished public service. The North Carolina A&T University Urban Education Institute honored him as an exemplar for African American males in the STEM fields.
